Sr. Designer
Reports To:
Creative Director
Position Summary:
We have an immediate opening for a Sr. Designer to join our team. The right candidate will create compelling work which continually meets or exceeds client expectations, while positively representing Orangeseed’s capabilities and potential — and maybe even turn some heads in the process.
Our designers are impeccable visual communicators. They are never satisfied with "good enough." They don't box themselves into 'only print' or 'only interactive' because they think, work and solve problems in all mediums. Design is in their blood, and they are constantly learning, observing and collaborating on great and timeless design. Expectations & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate to develop creative solutions for a wide range of design projects, products and clients.
- Develop concepts and designs that solve client and business objectives and present solutions to the team and directly to clients when requested.
- Ability to take creative direction and work collaboratively with designers, copywriters, project managers, developers and executive staff.
- Complete tasks on time and on budget.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of design experience
- A creative problem solver with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, an impeccable eye for design, and an undying hunger to continually learn and improve.
- Must be able to create and understand basic information architecture documents and solve navigation and information hierarchy challenges using site maps and wireframes.
- Must have acute attention to detail, the ability to take a project from concept to completion, and be able to work on multiple projects and timelines.
- Strong knowledge of all industry-standard design software. – Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Javascript technologies and always champion best practices. – Four year undergraduate degree is required.
Additional Skills:
- Motion graphics using AfterEffects and/or other video editing software is a plus.

Design Director

Position Summary:
We have an immediate opening for a rock star Design Director to join our team. The right candidate will create compelling work which continually meets or exceeds client expectations, while positively representing Orangeseed’s capabilities and potential — and maybe even win a few awards in the process. This is a hands-on position leading projects from concept to completion with spectacular design, spot-on messaging, and just the right amount of personality.
We are looking for top talent (you know who you are) who can lead and motivate design teams. Above all, though, we are looking for the right fit – that great friend we just haven't seen for a while and just came back from a long trip. If you've got the experience, personality, passion and vision for this position, we want to hear from you.
Expectations & Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of designers to creative solutions for a wide range of design projects, products and clients.

- 6+ years of design experience in an agency setting.

- Have a solid understanding of branding and marketing strategy in any medium (print, web, mobile or otherwise).
- Strong knowledge of all industry-standard design software.
- Four year undergraduate design degree is required.
