The Chicago Symphony Orchestra (CSO) came to Orangeseed with an ambitious goal: to become the most heard, most engaged orchestra in Chicago—and the world. That meant developing an unprecedented capital campaign to raise $250 million for new programs, community involvement and world tours.
To realize their vision, they needed a strong campaign concept and design to bring focus to the institution’s strength while highlighting signature programs and artistic initiatives.

To help the orchestra realize its ambitious goal, a compelling campaign was in order. Orangeseed worked with the CSO to shape a captivating story and design a bold presentation.
The strategy started by building a distinct campaign subbrand to leverage the equity of the CSO's well-established parent brand. The campaign endeavored to reach donors in new ways with a multi-pronged approach, including print and interactive media.
Working with Orangeseed is a wonderfully collaborative process. Orangeseed listened carefully to the CSO’s objectives and needs, and produced beautifully designed and creative materials that captured the essence and spirit of our capital campaign.
